About the event
Learn how to write with structure and style as we encounter adventures that will supply a rich foundation for imaginative and enjoyable writing. We will be learning about fables, myths, and fairy tales throughout the school year. This fall your students will work through IEW Units 1-4 as they learn to take notes, retell narrative stories, and summarize references. This course is an excellent class for students in grades 3-5.
Vocabulary and grammar will be included in this course. Please note that this is the first semester of a year-long course.
***Parents are responsible for purchasing the Fables, Myths, and Fairy Tales Writing Lessons Student book (3rd edition, May 2019) prior to the first day of class (Fables, Myths, and Fairy Tales Writing Lessons [Student Book only]), as well as either purchasing or printing out the Student Resource Notebook from IEW.
